In this episode, we talk about moving beyond motivation to building discipline, so that we can strengthen our foundation to make healthy changes and build healthy habits.   We can't simply rely on motivation to help us make progress, because we've all experienced the ups and downs of motivation as a result of our emotions and the things going on around us.   Krista share's 5 Tools to Build Discipline so that you’re able to dig a little deeper on those hard days and stay more consistent with your habits. 

5 Tools to Build Discipline:

1-     Focus on identity—not just the outcome

2-    Set small, achievable steps

3-    Use the 2 minute rule (just to get STARTED)

4-    Leverage your Environment- set it up to work FOR you

5-    Build in social support- with family or friends

If we can practice these habits proactively, we'll find it easier to push through on days when emotions are high, motivation is low, and we find ourselves in stressful situations.
