Relaxation and restoration is much needed to offset the everyday effects of stress that we experience day in and day out.  When we take time to include some periods of relaxation through the day, we can facilitate the body's restoration process, so that we get more restful, restorative sleep and and be and ready to go the next day.  

In this episode, Krista shares her experience of becoming more aware of her own need for more relaxation and restoration.  She also discusses the benefits of becoming familiar with the way your body feels during stressful situations and also during relaxation.  When we balance periods of high stress, with regular relaxation and restoration, we activate the restorative effects of the parasympathetic nervous system.  Finally, Krista talks about 4 easy steps to become more aware of your level of stress through the day and how to include periods of relaxation, and ultimately, restoration.
