Krista discusses, in a simplified way,  the many ways that protein is used in the human body- building and repairing muscle and tissue, producing enzymes, supporting proper immune system function, strong bones, and so much more.  She also discusses the metabolic and functional benefits that we experience when we are meeting our body's requirements for protein.  

Finally, Krista shares easy tips for incorporating more protein throughout the day and gives us a simplified approach to determine our current baseline of protein intake, optimal protein intake (range), and how to go about getting there!
